SUMMARY:Deer Safari at Boconnoc Estate Morning Session
DESCRIPTION: \n \n\nCome join us for a fascinating wildlife adventure at Boconnoc Estate. Hop on board the tractor-trailer with our Deer Ranger who will lead you on a safari through beautiful grounds to the ancient Deer Park\, where you’ll have the opportunity to observe these graceful creatures in action. \nBoconnoc Deer Park is known as far back as 1540\, Henry VIII’s map of coastal fortifications showed Boconnoc surrounded by a deer park. It is abundant with beech\, oak\, ash\, and willow trees. It is home to 188 lichen species\, including the only known British site for Porcina Hibernica. The Deer Park is a Site of Special Scientific Interest and is considered the best old-growth southern oceanic woodland in the South West of England. \nThe Safari will start in the Stable Yard with a talk all about the Deer\, their habits and the work that goes into running the Deer Park\, following this visitors will be taken to the Deer park on a tractor-trailer to observe the Deer herd.  \nRefreshments will be available at the Stable Yard Café and visitors are very welcome to bring their picnic and enjoy some time in the games and craft rooms. \n14th August 2024 10am to 12pm \nAdult – £15 \nChild- (6-15y) £7.50 \nUnder 5’s – free \nMeet in the Boconnoc Stable Yard\, the Safari lasts for two hours. \n\n\nBUY TICKETS HERE

DESCRIPTION:  \nThe Kernow Chamber Players\, known for their captivating performances\, are returning to Boconnoc following their sold-out 2023 concert. This time\, they will enchant us with Concertos by the Masters of the Baroque period\, promising to transport you to a bygone era of musical brilliance. \n  \nThe music of Handel\, Boccherini\, Vivaldi\, Corelli\, and others will be performed by seven players in a small chamber music setting: three violins\, two cellos\, a viola\, and a harpsichord in the Garden Room at Boconnoc House. \n  \nThe bar will be open one hour before the performance for guests to enjoy drinks in the Drawing Room and Boconnoc House Lawn. \n  \nDate: 15 August 2024 \nTime: The bar opens at 6:30 pm\, and the performance starts at 7:30 pm. \nPrice: Adults – £28\, Child (16 and under) – £10 \nBook here
