DESCRIPTION:  \nJoin us at Boconnoc House for a one-day Carbon Literacy training course designed and delivered by the Sustainable Wedding Alliance. This is the perfect course for people who want to make a positive change and take action on climate change through their work. You’ll also have the chance to spend the day at Boconnoc as a guest rather than working at a wedding supplier\, and to mix with industry colleagues.  \n\n\n\nThis course is aimed specifically at those in the wedding industry and will give you the knowledge and tools you need to be confident when talking about climate change. It will take you from the basics of climate science and what is happening with the climate emergency to how this will impact everyone\, enabling you to pledge relevant carbon-reducing actions in your life\, work\, and industry. \nAfter completing your Carbon Literacy training and submitting your actions\, you will become certified as ‘Carbon Literate’\, joining more than 110\,000 others\, including business leaders across multiple sectors. \nDate: Tuesday 18th March 2025 \nTime: 09:30 – 16:30 \nPrice: £90* or free for members of the Sustainable Wedding Alliance. \n*If you join the SWA within a month of the training\, your membership fee will be reduced by £80. \nBOOK TICKETS  \n  \n  \n
