DESCRIPTION:**SOLD OUT** \nOn the morning of Saturday 13th August between 7:30am and 9:30am we will be running a guided birdsong walk with ecologist and bird specialist\, Robbie Phillips. From farmland birds to woodland specialists Robbie will bring you into the world of breeding birds at Boconnoc. Learn how to identify a range of species from song and calls as well as understanding their behaviours and how they use varying habitats to feed and nest in. \n \nRobbie is a young ecologist and bird specialist/expert working on projects supporting bird conservation across the south west including swifts\, pied flycatchers and curlews. For anything we here during the walk\, Robbie will help you learn what it is and how to distinguish its songs from others. \nFollowing the walk join us down at the Saw Mill outdoor kitchen for tea\, coffee and a delicious ‘Braddock Banger’ sausage in a freshly baked bun\, sourced from a small holding rearing large black pigs on the Boconnoc Estate (vegetarian option available).
